Junior Development Pick Up Program

NSW Softball associations (affiliates) supporting the Macarthur Fastpitch Shootout through the “Adopt a Team” program may nominate 1 male and 1 female player for inclusion to the Development Pick Up List for inclusion on a participating team.

The player (minimum 16 years of age at the time of the tournament) must have represented that association at the previous 2 Open, U/23 or U/19 State Championships to be eligible.

The addition of a Development Pick-Up List player allows teams to increase their playing roster to a total of 16* and fosters the development of NSW-based players who participate with their home association.

The Macarthur Fastpitch Shootout fundamentally believes in and wishes to support players continuing to play at their home associations for the betterment of the game.
